    Who’s the mattress for ?
You can get a mattress in those cutprice places for £50 but some of the really nice large dog beds cost more than that.
So, I suppose the mattress would suit either man or beast better than the dog bed.
Look in your local paper for a second hand one – I’ve seen them advertised “as new – “never used” etc – no-one wants secondhand beds. I’ve even got an almost new futon in my loft that the local homeless organisation wouldn’t accept.

I would go to dove house charity shop or the big Oxfam furniture shop on Freetown Way. – should get a matress fit for a king for well under £50.00

Why get a dog bed, they keep you warm but the barking keeps you awake and the hairs get in your jim-jams.

Sell the computer, then you will be able to afford a better mattress.
